The options at Biscuit Head are infinitely more interesting. This is not your standard bacon egg and cheese fare, in fact that's not even on the menu. So this time rather than face the wait in the rain, I decided to introduce Jon to another breakfast place I'd been to once before, Biscuit Head. We usually hit up Sunny Point (a place I could wax poetic about for some time.) However, going to Sunny Point requires an insane degree of patience to weather the sizeable wait. Maybe not what you want some days, but the food is undeniably delicious.Back to in one of my favorite cities Asheville, I went to brunch, as is our long running custom, with my friend Jon. They had a self-serve jams, jellies, and butters station that we did not use, but looked like a great variety of things. Drizzled atop it all was a sriracha sauce.
On top of the biscuit was poached egg, scallions, and pickled onions. This was a savory breakfast! The brisket was flavorful and tender.

My husband had the full breakfast with the bacon of the day (scrumptious jalapeño raspberry bacon - OMG! delicious) and a biscuit with the pork cheddar gravy. Easy! Also, the cashier who our order made sure that we got the best price for what we wanted. After we ordered, all we had to do was go to our assigned table. Outside in the 32 degree weather, a staff member came out several times to ask new people in line how many people were in their party.
We just squeaked in to get one of the last tables. We scouted this place out ahead of time and saw how small it was, so we made sure to get there right when they opened.
